Hosted by the Fernie Lions Club, our annual demolition derby is a beloved tradition that supports local charities and initiatives. Join us for a spectacular show of skill, speed, and smashing fun, all while contributing to a great cause. Whether you’re a die-hard derby fan or a first-time spectator, there’s something for everyone at the Fernie Lions Club Demolition Derby.
2026 Event Details:
Date & Time: Sunday, September 6, 2026. Gates open at 11 AM, first heat at NOON.
Location: 1800 Railway Ave, Fernie, BC.
Admission: $20 adults (18+), $10 youths/students (11+), free for kids under 11.
Derby Action: Full-size cars, small cars, and trucks compete for cash prizes and trophies.
Live Music by Mount Rushka!
Food & Drink: Concession and an open alcohol permit allows beverages anywhere on the grounds, with a 19+ beer garden for a kid-free zone.
Family Fun: Kid zone with bouncy castles.
50/50 Draw: Win big while supporting local organizations.
